Hello everyone! I hope this finds all of you and your families safe and well.
I anticipate that the spread of COVID-19 has affected many of our lives.
Following the rise in confirmed cases, the United States has also been in quarantine for the second month. New York, one of the world’s largest cities, is like a ghost town at the moment
Along with the difficulties everyone has faced during such uncertain times, the North Korean refugee education centers have also been greatly affected by the pandemic.
The charity and non-profit organization Teach North Korean Refugees has been extremely helpful in providing practical support for North Korean defectors to find their own voice.
I sincerely hope everyone takes the time to donate to Teach North Korean Refugees to overcome the difficult situation and become a more impactful charity foundation for the North Korean refugee community.

Teach North Korean Refugees (탈북민 영어교육 프로그램) 은 영어에 어려움을 겪고있는 북한분들에게 많은 도움을주고 있으며, 꿈과 희망을 실어주고 있습니다. 탈북민들은 한국에서 영어라는 큰 장벽으로 인해 대학교, 직장등에서 어려움을 겪고 그로인해 학업까지도 종종 포기하는 경우가 있습니다. 그러나 그들은 탈북민 일대일 영어교육 프로그램을 통하여 영어에 대한 공포증을 해소하고 자신감도 많이 되찾고 있습니다.
탈북민들이 마음껏 배우고 새로운 환경에 잘 적응 할 수 있도록 여러분들의 도움이 필요합니다.
여러분의 작은 섬김이 통일로 가는 지름길이라고 생각합니다! 통일은 멀리에 있지않으며 바로 당신 곁에 있습니다^^

Teach North Korean Refugees (English education program for North Korean refugees) provides help to those who have trouble with English, and also supports them with dream and hope. North Korean refugees often find English as a large barrier that makes their college studies and job environment difficult, and in some cases they even stop their pursuit of education. Fortunately, TNKR is helping them learn English in 1 on 1 education programs that reduce their fear for English and in turn boost their confidence.
We need your support to enable North Korean refugees to learn as much as they can and adapt better to the new environment.
We believe that each one of your support will lead to reunification of our lands. Reunification is not too far away; it is right around the corner.^^

Eleven North Korean refugees have set up fundraisers supporting FSI. It is incredible because many of them had no concept of civil society before joining our organization. After studying with volunteers, many of them say they hope to volunteer one day.

Some of them even take that next step--fundraising for FSI!

Who are they? They include published authors, public speakers, human rights activists, YouTubers, and even a former doctor from North Korea.
