September 27th is the birthday of North Korean refugee Songmi Han!
If you have read her book then you know about some of her previous birthday celebrations, both happy and sad.
This year she will have a special birthday celebration: she will be giving a speech in Nashville, Tennessee, about her memoir Greenlight to Freedom!
Songmi says that FSI changed her life. She has a new world of
opportunities and possibilities. She escaped from North Korea
because she couldn’t see a future for herself. For several years
the future was also dark for her in South Korea.
That change could not have been possible with everyone who has
bought her book and supported her activities in FSI!
You can buy the book for yourself or a friend. http://smile.amazon.com/Greenlight-Freedom-Korean-Daughters-Herself/dp/B09TR8HFTM
