Happy Birthday Seungah Lee!

Hello! My name is Seungah Lee, a rising Junior. I'm one of the 4 ambassadors of FSI-GHSU and the Vice-President of the FSI club at Seoul Foreign School.
안녕하세요! 저는 곧 12학년이 될 이승아입니다. 저는 FSI-GHSU의 ambassador 네명 중 한명이자, 서울외국인학교의 FSI 클럽 부회장입니다.

Since 2021, I have had the honor of serving the North Korean refugees as a part of the FSI-GHSU. It's been a very eye-opening experience - making real changes for those who need it the most. As someone who was privileged enough to have various opportunities from a young age, including an international education, I wanted to utilize my bilingual skill sets to give back to the refugees and make most of what I have. Throughout this journey, I have had many people that supported and encouraged me. I would like to thank everyone, particularly my family and friends, who have always been there for me.
2021년부터 저는 FSI-GHSU의 일원으로서 탈북자들을 위해 봉사하는 영광을 누렸습니다. 제 도움을 가장 필요로 하는 사람들을 위해 진정한 변화를 만들어낼 수 있게 되었고, 이는 저에게 아주 뜻깊은 경험이었습니다. 저는 어려서부터 국제학교에서의 교육을 포함한 다양한 특권을 누린 사람으로서, 저의 유창한 영어 실력을 통해 탈북민들을 지지하고 제가 가진 것을 최대한으로 활용하고 싶었습니다. 이 과정동안 저를 격려해 주는 많은 사람들이 있었습니다. 항상 제 곁에 있어 주신 모든 분들, 특히 제 가족과 친구들에게 감사드립니다.

A couple days from now, on June 10th, it will be my birthday. This year, I have decided to accept donations for FSI for my birthday instead of material presents. If you would like to congratulate my birthday, please consider donating. These donations will directly support North Korean refugees, through tutoring them English and encouraging their process of sharing their valuable stories with the rest of the world. Regardless of the amount, your donations will make a great impact.
